Not even close. I had to fold the page back , stand it up and use my razor knife to slice the glue to get it out. Other than that.. it’s like any other paper pad.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2025Size: 11x15Style: Tape BindingPattern Name: Paper PadVerified PurchaseI made a portrait for the first time using this paper. See photo. I followed a tutor using cotton paper. She said to expect different results with different paper. All the watercolor artists urge you to buy expensive paper as a beginner. Well I think as a beginner you don't need to do that. Wait until you have some solid technique. I did not feel that this paper held me back at all. I just followed the instructor for this portrait. She didn't wet the paper ever. But sometimes we added paint before the previous layer dried. The paper did not dry too fast. I had no trouble with unwanted color lines that I couldn't blend out. I had no trouble with smudging previous layers. Frankly I had no issues with this paper. All the problems you see in the photo are just bad technique. Don't buy expensive paper as a beginner. Also I liked this paper better than Canson.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2024Size: 9x12Style: Tape BindingPattern Name: Paper PadVerified PurchaseI would go broke if I bought super premium paper all the time. This is such a nice middle of the road good quality paper. Great size, good absorption. I think this will be my go to paper and when I want to create a masterpiece I’ll pull out the fancy paper.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2024Size: 9x12Style: Tape BindingPattern Name: Paper PadVerified PurchaseI buy a pad of watercolor paper and cut it to postcard sized pieces when practicing or playing around with watercolors. Cheaper brand papers don't handle water as well in my experience. I can't afford 100% cotton paper, which I've tried samples of, and this is not as good as that but still is an excellent surface.

Size: 9x12Style: Sheet PackPattern Name: Paper PadVerified PurchaseVery thick and robust paper, can carry a lot of water, It is not a pad with pages that you can tear off but rather loose pages, not great but overall lovely paper , already used it for wedding name tags

5.0 out of 5 stars Buena calidad

5.0 out of 5 stars Way bigger than I expected (even though the dimensions are provided) - great value!
Size: 11x15Style: Tape BindingPattern Name: Paper PadVerified PurchaseI guess I didn't read the description properly and I was expecting a smaller booklet, maybe standard paper size. But this thing is HUGE! I'll be cutting these sheets into smaller sizes to make cards out of. But I think the value is really great for such large sheets of watercolour paper. I haven't tested the paper yet using my paints but it looks to be good quality. I will try to update this review once I test it out.
