Too dry to be useful
I’ve used this brand of ink many times before, but unfortunately the stamp pad I received is too dry to be useful. I did receive it in a timely manner, but I’m disappointed I can’t use it.

Due to the fact that this is part of a Christmas present, I cannot rate it on its performance, although I can say that I received the same color and exact item that I ordered, and it seems to be a good size for small/medium sized stamps; however, I want to review the condition in which I received this item. The entire inside of the bag that it shipped it and the outside of the little plastic baggy that the actual product was in was completely covered in little brown and black splotches of what I hope is just ink from other products that came from the shipping facility. Upon opening my package, I almost didn’t want to open the bag at all because at first glance it looked like there was a bunch of dirt or who knows what else inside of it. I eventually used a glove to open the bag (as a precaution) and upon closer inspection I realized that it was not dirt, but permanent little specks. There were also larger black smudges on the bag. I CAN say that once I removed the actual product from the little plastic bag it was in, it appeared clean and brand new. I understand that the facility probably handles a lot of ink pads and other products that may bust open or be messy, but I recommend that the shipping/packing facility maintain high standards for every package that ships out. If not for the fact that the actual product seemed clean upon further inspection, I was definitely considering requesting a refund.
