These Dye based, multi-surface inks are acid free, permanent, quick drying, and transparent. Creates a vibrant, polished effect on non-porous surfaces such as glossy paper, dominoes, metal, foil, shrink plastic, glass, and others. Formulated to create a vibrant, polished stone look. Package contains three 1/2 fluid ounce plastic bottles. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Warning: Contents flammable. A precision tip is included for each bottle. Made in USA.

    I have been using alcohol inks for about a year now and the Ranger line is one of my favorites. The colors are vibrant and the ink moves easily on the substrate you choose- I use the back of photo paper or coated canvas. My favorite thing about this set is the deni, it's a beautiful shade of blue but I LOVE it because it's one of the colors that 'breaks up' into other colors with alcohol and it looks gorgeous. You end up with shades of light pink and purple that add such great depth to the work. Have fun fellow inkers!!!

    This stuff is so much fun!! I used it on zinc washers to make jewelry with a group of teenage girls. They loved it and were so creative with it!
    Tip:The more you dab the more you mix the colors. Also I made my own applicators by cutting pieces of wood into 1" x 4" pieces, sanded slightly and glue gunned pieces of Velcro (the rough side) on the 1" side. Then stick the felt directly to the Velcro. This way I could have 12 girls all working at the same time. Totally fun!

    I am back into polymer clay after years of doing other things, and I wanted to try using alcohol inks to color the clay. These work so well that I bought two multipacks. My only issue is that I couldn't find a multipack with Cyan/ Magenta/ Yellow primaries. I've got my eye out and if i see some in this brand, I'll snap them up.

    Nice color strength, the blue is a bit dark and dull but looks very nice when paired with copper metal. The terra-cotta color is my absolute favorite, it is just beautiful and worth just getting the set for! Its a nice warm sepia color that covers well, good tint strength doesn't loose its color with diluting like some inks appear more red shade or orange shade, this one stays pretty much the same. The green is also very nice, a darker deeper green that is very useful.
    The blue was the only color of this pack I did not really care for, but I am sure others would may love it and have use for the shade. It just was too dull and grayish when mixed. The terra-cotta is the best so 4 stars!

    I have shown sewers how to change ordinary white plastic buttons into the perfect color or shades to work with their fabric project.

    My daughter visited and played with my inks during her visit creating stunning pieces that now people want to buy. She had never used them before this. She expanded my use of the inks (on ceramic tiles and glass for example) I am replacing my stash with this purchase. We use rubbing alcohol to extend their use and effects. I have never tried the company's product for that purpose.

    My only “complaint” about the Adirondack line is that the color names are rather obtuse. You wouldn’t think it would be hard to find “red” or even “crimson” but in this line it’s called “Poppyseed” (Not in this particular pack.) very difficult to understand exactly what colors are in each pack. Having said that, the colors are vibrant and good for base coat or main colors. A little goes a very long was too!
