When it comes to mixed media painting, using paint brushes is only the beginning of the process; there are SO many objects you have around you that can make create tools to make impressions in your mixed media painting.

Another thing I like to use is an empty toilet paper roll or paper towel roll. I just bend it back into a circular shape if it has gotten a little squashed and dip the end into paint, then make circles on whatever I’m painting.
